Did u guys know that subaru actually built a general aviation aircraft named the Fuji FA-200-160 Aero Subaru:
But the engine isn't a subaru - its a certified Lycoming I believe. Look on the wing tip-Fuji decal, and atop the rudder - Fuji Emblem, cool.
I think its neat almost like a cherokee 140 or the like

Strange as I know aircraft guys who say an EA or EJ engine is better and much cheaper than the Lycoming.
One of the stars in the Subaru emblem is for Nakajima Aircraft which was one of the companies consolidated into FHI. They made one of the best piston-engined fighters towards the end of WWII, but never got to make many.

Didn't Nakajima make the aircraft used on the carrier-submarines in WWII?

I agree the Ki-84 is a neat plane - kinda like the Japanese version of the P-47 Thunderbolt.
