Automatic 93 Legacy L Wagon refuses to go in reverse and needs a new tranny.

It used to be possible to buy used Subaru parts imported directly from Japan. Do such dealers still exist? In southern California?

If not, where can I find a reliable source for a tranny, preferably in Southern California?

I have an auto tranny that ONLY does reverse. Too bad we couldn't get them together so they could have a baby tranny that would do it all.

I'd check carpart.com, which is a junk yard search engine (with pricing).
