Look for a kit for an Impreza 2.5RS since it has basically the same engine. Obviously, it won't be a simple bolt-on but it might not be too difficult.
On your engine, best to keep the boost reasonable since it wasn't built for turbo. Great car, though.

The forced air kits are pretty good. I believe with his kits, you don't even need to swap crossmembers

I'm confused. Originally you were going to do that but not any more? But your post from yesterday says that you DO have a GT model legacy and you ARE looking for a turbo kit for it.

for the sake of discussion, would it make sense to go with a 2.2 over a 2.5 for turboing? Obviously a turbo motor makes more sense for real power gains.

KRVT,
NO NEED to yell at us to get a response!
I second the suggestion to get the FAT kit. They make it for both the 2.2l and 2.5l cars.
As for the which engine question? Obviously the 2.2T is better suited to boosting with it's lower CR. But when you already have the flow of the DOHC Ej25 heads, it is hard to argue that it will make more power in this car. 5-6psi on an Ej25 is good for low to mid 200's in the power department. And the beauty of the FAT kit, is later, one can replace their block with, say, an Ej257 STi bottom end and lower the compression and turn up the boost and make 300hp...
