I had a blast. Even with two kids running around like dirty urchins, and only losing one once, I had a grand time. Met alot of the board members I have only internet communicated with, met others from other boards and people who don't really know what a computer is.

By the way, I won best Legacy!


It was an awesome turnout with about 170 vehicles registered, and I know a few didnt, so I bet at least 200 subies showed up. From perfect Gen 1's (turns out he lives 8 blocks from me), to the PERFECT and CLEAN Gen 2 wagons, to the Show Car catagory imprezzas, to the off road crowd, and of course to our beloved Legacies! Wow! What a turn out of Legacies. It was amazing, probably over 50 Legacies showed up, and close to 40ish actually showed and shined. From bone stock 1990 NA wagons to the 2005 GT wagons, all were represented. And it does seem that all really were represented because there was suck a huge turnout. I was really really surprised to win best Legacy and thank the judges for picking such a beater not for the looks, but for the crazed dedication I have for getting it alive (over and over!).


The campground cleaned up pretty good for all the partying. When Kelly (ralliteck) and I left at 2 pm today, there were only two XT6s left (one was Qman4x4) and they were kinda stuck since their RV battery was shot. I picked up various trash while Kelly fixed the bust radiator in the Forester he was offroading. Once that was finally done (THANKS TO Mark(Xsnrg on most boards, from our board, he brought in a used radiator)) we caravaned that last two Subarus back to Portland

That was my RV. Go figure, but with new parts only 5 minutes away it wasn't so bad. Mark(Xsnrg on most boards) came in after I called him last night to bail out Kelly's misfortune. Been along time since I saw a radiator open up like that.

Thanks for all the hard work Ken and Zap. I think everyone had a really good time, I know I did.

I had lots of fun, props to the organizers and all who made the show possible. I thought it was a great location. was kinda bummed I couldnt bring my ride out there, but there is always next year I suppose(knocks on wood). highlight of the weekend was probably watching a lifted ea82 hit a small woopdedoo, stuff it into a big woopdedoo, and get about 6' of air. lots of sweet cars there. highlights for me were probably the badass SVX's, the ej22 powered ea81 wagon, and seeing all the nice legacies together.
congrats on the win doug, I forgot to buy one of your videos damnit! It was great to meet a few of you legacycentralers and put some faces to the names.

It was fun hanging out with all of you guys. I thought I would check out this board, I'm looking forward to next years show.

We had a great time! Met what I think was the balance of the Rallitek crew by the other RV, and was pleased to see they all share the same sense of humor the rest of us do.

Yes, we brought the BONE STOCK LGT to the show, but it caught the eye of quite a few poeple, to my surprise. Guess that was their chance to really look one over without any pressure from a salesman. (Thanks again to everyone for the backing-up of my purchase decision)

I know I said it on USMB Ken, but I'll say it again here. If there's anything Laurel and I can do to assist in the organizing of next year's event, don't hesitate to ask us.

I had a good time. It was cool to meet lots of people, and see so so many legacys! Too bad we couldnt have campfires though, it was a bit chilly there at night and i didnt bring the BBQ. We sat around and talked a lot, which you can only do so much. There need to be a few more things for entertainment next year, something like we had last year with the mudpit, and then the rallycross. but still a good time with lots and lots of subies!

We only took a few. I'm waiting on Noah's CD.

I had a great time. I think this show was as great as last years show, i will trade a mud pit for shaded campgrounds. It was great seeing everybody from last year and alot of new people. ALOT of new people!

Luckily the RX made it completly unscathed... and after 1500miles round trip the brakes are no longer squeeking (maybe thats a bad thing)
My convoy consited of two 1984 GL Wagons and a 1982 GL Brat with a 4" Lift kit. So the actual road trip was slow... wasnt bad, i averaged 26mpg, i'll take it.

When I split up from the convoy my speed increased and I made great time from Klamath Falls to Sacramento. Averaged 72-80mph, expecially I5 South. At that point I was averaging 20mpg...

But now that im home, I must get some sleep.
