So here is my ride, for about a year and a half now everyone has heard about this beast, but nobody has really seen it, Well she's finally done.
Here are the specs
1991 Legacy SS
1989 ej20g with AWIC
- 3" custom exhaust with divorsed downpipe
- V1 Sti ECU running 17LBS Boost at 5200RPM
- 1999 RS interior
- 1997 Legacy twin Turbo steering wheel
- Various other JDM stuff, if you want to know what or where I got it just ask.
-2004 WRX Struts, rear springs and tophats
- 1998 Legacy H&R Lowering springs in the front
- Various bushings and suspension components by whiteline
- WRX Hoodscoop
- WRX rims with re92's
- 2 Donor Legacy SS's now crushed and probably in the pop can your drinking
- Auto to manual conversion
What's on the way
VF-30
2004 STI yellow side feed injectors

Now that it's done, I'm so happy, It's really fast, like scarry fast :) and handles like a dream. What can I say about the whole conversion, people who said that it's only like 4 wires, You all were wrong, it's about 15, repins an whatnot.
Props to Richard and Guito here in ottawa for helping me get her going, these guys are swapping gurus who know thier stuff, Thanks guys.
Big Thanks to Michael Hooper at Jarco Enterprises in Atlanta who sold me the ej20, and a year later when he heard it had rod knock, sold me a replacement 96 JDM WRX engine with Tranny at cost :) (that will be put in in Sept) So right now it knocks like a bastard, but runs o soooo good. Enjoy the Pics, let me know what you think, Mods, if you can figure out how to resize the pics let me know.
Thanks
Frazer

Gah! RE92's! *forms cross symbol with fingers*

You did an auto-to-manual conversion right down to the instrument panel huh?? :)

And it appears you have a cable clutch :?

Still looks sweet though, mad props :D

Is that a WRX or some such 6-CD changer? What wiring needs to be done to make that work?

I've been wanting to do the same thing.

Hey, are those JDM lights :?

- Yes it's a auto to manual conversion, but you can't see the resevoir behind the AWIC
- The CD player was a snap, It's from a 04 WRX that I bought off a kid for $50, I got the wiring diagram of this site, and the WRX diagram off Ravenblade-impreza's site and voila. Fits right in, only you have a small slot underneith
- Yes they are JDM lights, that passed Safety, I've reaimed them to our side of the road, Wait VGR3, They do not blind the dude coming the other way, I got into my other car and drove the other way past it to test them, they are no worse then a BMW with white halogens or what ever they have.

BRAVO! I was worried about what my WRX scoop will look like when I get it back, but you made me feel reassured about it. Looks great.

the fogs were difficult to fit, I had to cut make some brackets to fit our bumper and shave the inside of the holes out to make them fit. they look good from above and the front and sides, but from below they look rough, but who looks at fogs from below.....
Thanks for the feedback guys, the car went back to the bodyshop to get a bubble dealt with and I got them to paint the rear deck totaly red and not black to make it look a bit more modern, i'll post pics of my ass soon.
