Why use N/A rail for bigger injectors

I remember reading somewhere that bigger 440cc injectors would fit with N/A fuel rails, what part of the turbo rails doesn't fit.

I did a search, too much topic came out and my lunch break is not long enough. Thx for any answers

The 92-94 NA rails will accept nissan sr20det injectors, and these are readily available in 370 440 550 and up sizes. The end clips have to be modified and flipped to fit, but its easy to do. I used 370 cc injectors I got off ebay for $55 or so.

the end clips, nothing needs to be modified when useing sti ones

The injectors are physically different shapes.

The EJ22T stock injectors have this kind of shape:

While the 92-94 non-turbo EJ22 injectors, as well as most of the upgrade injectors, have this kind of shape:
