Turbo and 4eat

turbo and rebuilt 4eat by IPT performance
with the stronger tranny I've been turning up the boost(Profec B).
The torque conv has a different stall speed and launches quicker and
the shifts are harder and faster. This is good.
However, in clutch lockup in 4th I've gone as high as 13, but at the
same boost setting and when accelerating (not in lock) 10 to 11 is
the most it will do. This says that there is too much slippage to drive
the turbo to higher boost. This defers installing a bigger turbo. The shift controller bypasses the stock
computor than runs the tranny. The add on shifter also has a toggle
switch for the lock up, which suggests I could run a bigger turbo than
the VF11.
Question---Has anyone any experience with higher performance 4eats?
Is the instal of the shift controller going to take a jillion hours?

Bob(normally aspirated engines suck)

A couple of people i know have had high performance 4eat's for drag racing. Don't think they messed with shift controllers tho.
