Performance cat back worth it.?

Just bought a parts car and it has a ractive stainless cat back + I have a high flow cat sitting around..
Is it worth puting on my turbo legacy? will I notice gains.?

no way man. All that work, just to have it suck all the power out of your car. Seriouslly, even though everyone on the entire planet thanks a bigger exhaust helps increase power, dont listen to them. You want the smallest exhaust possible, like one from a Prius or something. Swapping out that exhaust is a lot of work, might take you days and thousands of dollars. Do it right the first time.

sure, put it on there. depending on the size you may notice some gains. you have the exhaust right, why not just put it on there?

Yes put it on. Everyone know that our stock exhaust is very restrictive. You will see hp gain. Maybe not a lot but you will see it. It is only bad if you use to large of an exhaust.

Where did you get the exhaust?? I sold mine a year ago, just wondering if it's the same one?

I'm pretty sure that back pressure hurts performance period unless your talking about the uppipe. The part that would cause you to actually lose power would be to mess with the step on the exhaust ports on the head.
