Bigger hood scoop?

are there any aftermarket places out there where I could get a slightly larger hoodscoop? I realize that one would come stock with a GC8 chassis
, but I'd rather like to keep this one for the time being. If I get a TMIC, I'll be wanting a little more airflow over the scoop.

Other then customizing one, there are no direct drop replacements.
You would most likely have to do some trimming. check out the fiberglass hood thread....I think it's in the parts forum.....there's pics of an RS hoodscoop on a turbo hood.

I might have access to an extra turbo hood (minus scoop) from a friend. If not, then I'm sure he can source a legacy hood from the same year. I'll see about cutting an opening out for an RS scoop I saw from NGP Tuning (yes, a VW shop is selling RS scoops:D).
My friend has had some experience with fiberglass and is working on a hood for his 2002, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind helping me develop a foberglass hood for my car (and possibly you guys, if interested), incorporating the RS scoop.
THIS IS BY NO MEANS AN OFFER YET!! I'm gonna test it out first. I won't have but maybe a half day per week to work on this hood, so my own iteration of it probably won't be ready until the summer. But I'll let you guys know.

I've actually got a spare turbo hood.....for a 91 though.
91 turbo hoods are different then the 92-94 models though.
