Hi guys, I have a 90 liberty wagon and I want to get rid of the air suspension...will WRX struts and springs fit it??

At the moment I have jacked the car up then started it then lowered the jack and the car is sitting on the bumpstop then i start it and let it pump up about 1.5 inches then i pull the fuse out for the shocks and my car is instantly lowered...hehehehe

Can this damage anything??

Cheers

Hi, ive got a liberty wagon with the air suspension too, how did you go with the conversion? have you noticed any damage from lowering the car they way you said? Im still trying to figure out what it was you did? how much did it lower the car by?

philhustler: I dont know exactly what you are referring to.

The conversion is to basically get suspension from a normal Legacy. I did this first. THEN later I switch to non tapered rear springs and Impreza struts. I lowered the car using whitelines set of springs specifically for the Legacy.

Why everyone want to convert to springs instead of air?

Because air suspension wears out and is expensive. If you like though I know someone who has a complete working set of air suspension for sale...

I'm just curious, I don't have the money for struts right now and if I did i'd most likely be going with gr-2's or some impreza coil-overs
