One one hand, we definitely need American-mined coal to reduce our dependence on foreign oil. On the other hand, do we really need to destroy entire mountaintops to mine coal? I wouldnt want that to happen in my backyard. Maybe there is a better way to mine the coal.
Not familiar with the area, but it's possible the local job market isn't so hot there, and the local residents prefer feeding their families to saving the mountain...understandable.
Any good places to mine coal in areas of Virginia, less environmentally sensitive but near homes of politicians & CEOs? Instead of improvised blockades, work would be stopped in the initial planning stage by an army of lawyers and reporters.

Leave it to Tennessee folks to mess up a Legacy.
They should have used some cheap POS.

no offense, but have you seen the price of a "junky" older legacy wagon lately?

Yeah, they're getting pretty cheap.
But why not make a roadblock out of something less useful?

Speaking of K cars, I once saw an Aries with the window banner "Aries racing, real power for real men."
