I hate to post it but i couldn't find the answer i was looking for after 2 and a half hrs of searching. I have 02 wrx struts/springs/tops in the front and 02 wrx struts/springs/legacy tops in the rear. I just got some 02 wrx rims(16x6.5 with a 53 off set) and they have brdgestone potenza re92's in a 205/55. They rub like a mother on the rear spring seats. Any ideas on how to correct this issue? I'm getting new tires soon any way and i just need to know what size. If the answer is already posted, pm a link to it if you find it and Admins, DELORT this please. (only if the answer is already there) Thanks

smaller tires sounds like your only option
people seem to like 205/50 on 16's - acurate speedo
i think those would be about 7/8" smaller diameter, would that be enough?

maybe a wheel spacer but that would mess up your offset

I noticed this was posted in the BC-BF forums so I figure that you are using the springs shocks , hats etc from a WRX in a older Legacy (that is 90-94). Is this a straight up swap? If not what problems did you encounter in using these peices in the older sub, also I don't believe you mentioned if they went into a sedan or wagon. I believe you have more clearance in a wagon than you do in the sedan, thanks for the info...

91 sedan and yes, the fronts are a straight swap, the rears you need to use the stock tops from your legacy unless you have AWD, then it's again a straight swap. try the search button and also check the stickies. :D

hmm, I am curious why you rub.

I have KYB AGX/H&R which lower my ride and I am running the stock WRX rims with stock tire size and there is no rubbing.

Did you do the suspension install?

It sounds like there might be something off somewhere.

yup, i did the install. everything looks like it's alligned properly except the fact that i broke one of the bolts on the front right top, but i have another one ready to install. I'm not too sure what it's hitting because i have had NO time to work on the beast, but if i stand on the rear bumper and jump off it goes "scrank" and only moves down like 3/4ths of an inch and is REALLY stiff. not spring stiff, but bouncing on the tire stiff.

i'm pretty sure they are, but they're off a WRX (different ride height)
