yup- the seats were the original ones. And boy they look good and feel a lot better. the extra padding makes them feel more bolstered and cushy.

very nice.

I need to have mine redone. I'd like them to build up the bolstering so it's like the WRX seats.

yeah..... me too :D seats look good, but why'd you re-upholster the stock stuff? why not a WRX seat to look stock in your car? j/w

Ok, if you have ever taken the door cards apart, you would realize that they are a bitch to do a good job on.

That and the fabric to do the original seats was not hard to find.
Besides, the fabric in there now will last and repel stuff a lot better than the alcantra stuff on the WRX seats.

I did not want BLING, I wanted durability and it to look factory.

Besides, with the extra padding the seats are 100 times better.

i know what you're saying about the door panels, i attempted to take the fabric off one time..... hehe it did NOT work.

what i was saying was get some WRX seats and re-upholster them in the stock fabrics i.e- it will have the better bolstering but look stock. i'm not trying to ruffle your feathers, i'm just wondering.... while i'm typing.....

but they do look good :)

lol- nothing ruffled. I tend to type to the point. It may seem abrupt, but that is not the message I am trying to portray.

What can I say- I went the route of least resistance. I figured stock seats would be good with better padding.

That and it was cheaper. The whole thing cost me $600 to do. Front and rear seats.

my back seat is more comfortable than my couch. And my couch is fucking amazing
