ok here is the situation 92 SS with WRX intercooler. went from aftermarket BOV to stock WRX because i want to recirculate the pressure.....problem is the elbow sticks out right into the throttle cable assembly....A million people on this forum have put WRX intercoolers on and im sure with Stock BOV's....how the heck did you do it to keep the elbow so that you can recirc it??
I have a couple of ideas about inverting the BOV and welding new ears on it. but it seems im missing something......

1. get small rectangle of sheetmetal
2: get length of hose of adequate diameter as to put over inlet side of stock BOV
3: get coupler that is threaded on one side and barbed on the other that will sufficiently fit inside above mentioned hose (not hoes, those come later (well, before I do, but after you do, cuz i'm da pimp))
4. make sheetmetal into plate size of WRX BOV base
5. drill 2 small holes in plate so as to bolt plate to IC
6. drill one large hole in plate so as to insert above mentinoed coupler
7: insert said coupler
8: attach above mentioned hose to coupler
9. attach stock BOV to hose
10: attach plate to IC
11: pipe stock BOV back to bov recirculation point
..
.
.
??: Profit!
??+1: HOES!

I actually took apart my throttle linkage, and removed the cruise controll part of it.

Who needs cruise control?
BAC5.2 cut his cruise throttle linkage and I don't run cruise anyways because of my steering wheel.

No, no pictures. Go look at it and you'll see what I mean.
And change the subject title to something more descriptive of the topic.

Maybe Matt can take a picture of his setup, which is similar to what Jason's suggesting.
