My "new to me" Turbo wagon

Well, I finally got it. I've been driving it for a week and I just installed the new rims I bought from tiretrends.com . I now see why you guys like these cars so much. It's like sitting in a cockpit, very comfortable.
I love the turbo whine. She's a little piggy on gas though, but I don't care, I get a big smile in return.

I paid $3000 cdn for it. All it needed was a CV boot. I think I got a smokin' deal.

Check it out..I think it needs lowering.
The pics of the new look are rather large as my Photoshop7 crashes my machine and I can't resize them..
first pic and last pic are of the new rims

Whatcha think?

Very nice, I've always been fond of black cars, but they get too dirty for me.

You showed us these pics before, right? But that was before you had the car...

What mods are you planning to start with? :)

Yep, that's almost right. When I posted them last I had commited to buy the car but I had to wait an agonizing week for the seller to return from a trip. It's a US/Canadian spec '93 turbo as far as I can tell.

The 1st and last pic are new, with the new rims.
They are 17 X 7 FRD rims w/Hankook Ventus H404 tires ( 215/45R17)
they were quite affordable at $166 and $131 cdn , respectively.
The old 15"ers are nasty!!

As for my first mods, I'm not quite sure. How big of an improvement will struts (GR2) and springs (H&R control) make over the stock setup? I don't want to get any rubbing. I do plan to get to the body very soon after the snow melts, as it's quite decent for it age. You can clearly see some of the bad spots in the pics.

You are certainly right,THAWA, Black cars like to show off the dirt. But they look so good when they are clean. You certainly get noticed in one of these cars. I had a cutie blow me a kiss in traffic a couple days ago. Much better than getting the finger ;)

Better, smaller pics soon. Thanks for the comments

Very nice!

Looks like you've cleaned it up pretty good. Those wheels look really good on that car.

GR2's will probably help handling, as would the H&R's I'm not sure how much the H&R's lower though....may be more then you want.....not sure.

Very Nice Car, perfect wheels. Any thoughts on powdercoating them gunmetal? Are you a member of COPA? I saw the sticker on the rear window.

Are you a member of COPA?
Nope, previous owner. The sticker is between the window and the tint :(
I'll have to get that fixed.

do you have automatic seatbelts?
No, just the normal ones with the height adjustment.

I'd probably choke myself with automatic ones
