and cuz i dont want to start another thread, i can finaly join the wrx wheels club. got these for a song, and their in perfect shape. the paint is good too. no curb rash but a little bit of rock chips on one. tires are nitto 450's in 205/55 tread is still 80% or more and just as an example of how cheap these were, the tires im rockin on my wheels right now were exactly twice as much as these. thats just the tires. so now their my dedicated race tires.

notice how much taller the new ones are stacked up.

I'll take a stab, did the fender get kicked over and let it where funny while driving down the road?

Cornering hard enough the body roll caused the fender to rub?

wrong wrong and wrong.

cornering hard enough to understeer on verry brushed pavement (airport padock) is my best guess.

fenders are fine and they never touch my tires, i dont do doughnuts

I think you'd have to do that a lot for that wear to happen.
Nice minivan.

The Previa wasn't mid-engine... Though, they were available with a supercharged engine. Fun vans, trying to meet the market that the Dodge Turbo Caravan had forged. No one bit. Though the parts are often used to do stuff with other cars. I saw a guy with an older Celica, turbo'd, using the intercooler from a Previa and the hood from an All-Trac. It was sick. First TMIC'd transversely mounted 4-cylinder I'd seen in a while.

It looks mostly like horrendous toe wear. Did you recently do ANY suspension changes without getting a GOOD alignment?

8)

the s/c engine became standard after a few years. The na ones are absolutely gutless, and a v6 is too big to fit under the floor.

the na was guttless but not quite absolutely. and the handling because of the mid engine is great. i can atest to that.

i think theres some bad toe on that side but i had a tire shop look at it and they said nothings wrong. the reason why i think there is is because my falkens were doing something funny too on the outside. ill go get it checked again but the last suspension i did i got a really good alignment im sure of that.

reason why i think its the airport that did it is becuase i did 16 runs on a mostly left hand turn autox course. with 2 large understeerred and fast sweepers. so thats 32 times for 5 or more seconds hard wear against the brush of the pavement.
