What's the best way to go about converting my standard speedo to metric?

Can you just swap off the faceplate from it, and if so, does anyone have a metric one they could send me for postage costs?

I'm not worried about changing the actual odometer and everything to metric, just the speedo readout.

The intrument cluster is currently sitting on my lap.

I can't figure out how to take the needle off the speedo so I can replace the panel... I dont want to force it

I don't think it comes off, but don't quote me on that.
