My legacy in the front sits to high, i wanna lower the fron wit springs, but i dont know if it will be what i am looking for because the back sits fine. But would lowering springs lower the front end to be even with my back or might it be another problem. I have an 1991 legacy lsi.Does anybody know the biggest rims possible to fit on an legacy 1991 i heard 19's but i dont see it..

Pretty much all subaru's have a larger wheel gap in the front. that's just the way it is.

I don't recommend replacing just the front springs as it would throw off the handling characteristics.

For the FWD models about the only thing that will fit are the whiteline control springs.

If you go to the picture gallery, I started a thread called "zymol'd legacy" or something like that. You can see pics of my car. I have the whiteline springs on it with 16" wheels.

I wouldn't recommend anything over 16......you're just asking for trouble with rubbing.

Technically you can get those springs from any MRT reseller. However it took close to 6 months and a couple emails to the owner of MRT, and whiteline to prod their asses. MRT is the sole sourced provider for whiteline products in the US. Whiteline had the springs, MRT was just being gay. You can try buying directly from whiteline, and you probably won't have the same headaches www.whiteline.com.au

My car is FWD. You need to first check if you have the tapered rear springs. The springs are smaller at the top then bottom.

Here's some pics

If you don't have the tapered rear springs, then you can use eibachs...probably..... If you do have tapered rear springs, you can only use whitelines.......Or possibly convert the rear strut top assembly to the later models.....but there's no guarantee the car will sit properly (level)

Re your noise. Jack up the car and try wiggling the wheel, if it's loose or when you turn it you hear/feel a grinding noise, then it's bearing. If not.....it's probably something else.
