The first SCCA National Rallycross Challange will be held in Hastings, Nebraska October 15-16. This year it is open to anyone that is a SCCA member.

I'm going cause I'm #2 in open in the colorado region in my slightly modded SS. With one race to go locally(Oct 8, Fountain, CO) I have the podium finish sewed up and a good finish at the Nationals would go a long way toward pursuit of sponsership $$$ for next year.

any idea how many competitors are expected to show?

as of the middle of last week there were 29 sor sure. Many people including myself are waiting till the last minute.

Got back yesterday from nationals. After my FDC failed Satuday and being 8th in class I bounced back and took a third in Rally Modified 4 wheel drive class. I was the only Stage one Subaru competing and it sure felt good to beat all the sti's and wrx's except 1 with 2 drivers. I guess $35,000 will usally beat $3,500 but old #12 did quite well for 260k on the chassis.

There were 68 entries.

wow. good job. never heard of that class though. was this for rally cross???

Yeah new classes this year. RM4 would be the old Open Class.
