Did STi ever tweak the SVX? Or was it so good stock that it didn't need any tuning?

That's a very good question. . . .

. . . although to say that is was "so good" stock may not be the reason why. :?

There is rumer of an STI SVX running around Japan. It has some special body kit and is STI blue. No word as to the power upgrades but as an STI it should have some. The car is a one-off made by Subaru and probly the only one ever made. On the other hand were trying to get Subaru to bring out the SVX pace car to the big Reading meet next year, and that thing is suppost to be able to do around 200MPH so it must have some upgrades too. I so hope they bring it out. :D

I think japan had an "S4" version with slightly more power and a little lighter. but I don't think STi ever did a "version" of it. STi tweaking a NA car is like Mugen tweaking a turbo car

The S4 had the same power as every other SVX, but I think they were the lighter models. They were kinda like the early L model SVX's we had here, no power seats or sunroof, and no wings. They also had BBS mesh wheels and a crome grill (Oooow, Aaaahhh). STI's got more than turbos and water sprayers up there sleave, how about a stroker kit and some cams? 333hp. SVX. :D
