Have a 97 awd Legacy wag. 2.2 non turbo . When 1st started it idles 2500 rpm. runs ok then . after 30 seconds? it slows down, quickly + misses. The back cyls. 3,4 are ok. But 1,2 show no power output. Spark ok, ck compresion in 1 cyl 125 psi ok. sounds like the injectors are still clicking, listening w/a screw driver. 1507, is supposed to be in the idle air control solenoid. Will it make it miss also ?? Could not find any vacuum leaks ,either .

How did you check to see whether cylinders 1 & 2 show no power?

I put a used IAC solenoid on it . Only ran it a few miles but seems ok. Better then the 30 seconds till it started missing etc, .Still doesn't make much sense.. ,
