I'm wanting to pull out the injectors... see if they are fouled, check the oring. maybe replace them.
How do you do this the proper way with out screwing it up?

I've only done it on a Ej20g...but I they are both side feed, and should be similar. I found I had to take the fuel rail off the engine with the injectors still attached to the rail. I then put the rail in a clamp and took the injectors off. That said, I think the EJ22T might have a lot better access to the injectors, so as long as they aren't too stuck in the rails, you might be able to get them out without removing the rails.
Good luck

They're a freakin pain in the arse to take out....no matter how you look at it.....regardless of them being an EJ22 or EJ22T.
You'll probably want to take out the fuel rails. I'm going to be pulling the whole intake manifold on mine since it was so freaking crowded in the engine bay and things weren't going to well, especially with fuel spilling everywhere.

Why can't something on this car be "Easy"?
Well, the spark plugs are easy...
