This winter i want to park my car and rebuild the engine as it has 275 000 kms on it i know where i can get pistons, crank and rods but i am trying to decide what i want to do with the top end of the engine i have read about both the 2.5 SOHC swap or the 2.5 DOHC from what i have read it seems like the DOHC seems to mount uo to the bottom half of the engine better but the SOHC of course flow better so I was wondering what your guys take on it is?

Actually,
The DOHC heads flow better, in stock form. But the difference is pretty marginal. Guys have done this build both ways with similar results. Not many guys here have done it. Go to NASIOC and search for HOK, Wedge, Xephyr, and No-Coast-Punk. They all have had pretty serious Ej22T hybrid engines using EJ25 heads.

And if you need heads, let me know, I've got a set of each for sale...
