110 in a 60
The guy could have taken away my license for 3 months and a $400 ticket.
He gave me a break cuz it was my first one and I was polite. $200 and 3 points against my license.
Sigh.

Wow, 110 in a 60. I wish I could say I haven't done that. But the truth is we all have at one time or the other. You just got pinched this time. Sorry that it happened, at least the cop was nice about it and wasn't a hard case.

My radar detector went off, but he used laser and there was no way in hell I could have gotten down to the limit in time.

Funny radar story:
My ex got popped for speeding and thought she would fight it in court. She gets in front of the judge and says, "There is no way I could have gotten caught speeding because my radar detector never went off." The judge said, "3 points, pay the clerk on your way out." At this point she broke down and started balling. I was doing all I could to not laugh my ass off and tell her how farking stupid she is.
We ended up getting in a fight one day and I rubbed it in her face. Later that day she took my cats and I haven't seen her since. I really miss that pussy. The cats you perv!!

Ouch! i hate that point when you know there's nothing you can do. My heart just kind of sinks at that moment.

Im not gonna fight it in court, because I have no grounds for defence, my only defence is if the cop just doesnt show up. If he does, I get nailed for the full amount and lose my license.

Got pulled over on the way back from Whistler Mtn. The Mounty said he clocked me at 120k in an 80k Zone.
I said "Well officer, you might have got me for speeding, but thank goodness I wasn't going fast." After pausing for a moment he laughed and
said "That's pretty good , but you're going to get a ticket anyway."

ouch, that kinda sucks. The fine wasn't too bad considering...
I got 156 dollar (american) for expired plates...pretty sure it doesn't deserve the same fine as speeding dangerously (but w/e).
That's 110 km/hr right? About 62 in a 30 or something like that in mph?

Sorry to hear that splinter...
My friend got nailed doing 67 in a 40 with ESP (I'm assuming it's those white lines on the road). I told her to argue it down to less than 26 under so she doesn't lose her license...

Friend of mine got a ticket for 115 MPH in a 70. He had to pay a lot of money and go to court and all that. Kept his license and no jail time.

Phew. This whole time I was thinking mph!!
70 is a 35 is still nothing to sneeze at. If the cop was a dick, he probably could have found a way to arrest you...

No, it would have if he'd have hit me with the full ticket tho, it'd be extended for *2 years*
If I get another one it could be tho. I get my full license in like 6 months, so Im just gonna have to be careful from now til then

ours is a 9 month thing and if you get any sort of violation, its gets extended to 15 months.

One of my managers recieved a ticket for doing 70 in a 45 and managed to get a ticket a week later for doing 90 (I was behind him doing about 75 in my corolla) in the same 45 zone. First offense he lost his license for 6 months, second offense he lost it for a year. I predicted to him once in January that he wouldnt make it out the year without at least one ticket. Oh, and these numbers are in MPH.

#1 - 79 in a 55 - became "failure to obey sign" 3pts. Paced by Milwaukee Sheriff in unmarked Tahoe.
#2 - 69 in a 40 - stuck, 3 pts. Radared by Greenfield Police in marked cruiser.
#3 - 79 in a 55 work zone w/ no workers - automatically plead guilty. Goddamned plane in Nebraska got me. Just before the Sheriff turned on the berries a guy passed me doing +15 than me. I thought smokey was after him for sure. Signed the ticket and mailed it back with a check. Sneaky rat bastards using planes. Where's a flock of pidgeons when you need them?

got pulledover for playing ball tag with cars, basically drive around town, wrecklessly throwing balls at certain cars and whoever gets hit is it. was fun but got careless driving along with speeding.
brother got DUI, MIP, and wreckless driving, all at once, lets just say it took a paycheck and a half to pay that one.

my friend got back from colorado this week, while he was there he got a ticket for child abuse because he had his kid in the car while doing 75 in a 55. it was one of thoes roads where they set it up as 75 and then goes down to 55 as fast as they can. hella speed trap. but child abuse, common.
