Everything is pointing towards the clutch actuation system as my problem in this thread

What I'd like to know is, those of you that have driven BOTH the 91 MT AND 92-94 MT trubo legacies, did you feel a difference in pedal effort between the 91 & 92-94?

I've checked part #'s, and the 91 pedal box, clutch MC and slave cylinder, and clutch fork have different part #'s then the 92-94 MY's. Also, the 91 part #'s do not supercede to the 92-94 MY's.

Does anyone have these cars that can comment?

Also, does anyone have a 91 and 92-94 clutch MC & slave cylinder, clutch fork, and possibly pedal box they could try and compare?

Unfortunately, I don't know the MY of the parts that are in my car. I may try to hunt that info down, but I don't know how successful I'll be.

Do you have access to the OEM parts catalog? Because if you do you can look at the diagram to see that the big visual difference between the pre- and post-facelift clutch control system is that post-facelift uses hoses to go from the master cylinder to the damper and from the damper to the slave cylinder, while the pre-facelift uses hard lines for at least some of it. I believe the difference in the cylinders is just that they're meant to take inverted flare fittings instead of banjo fittings. Naturally, then, they cannot supercede.

The parts that are in your car (they're the ones you bought from Dave, that Dave bought from me, right?) are reportedly off a 94. They're definitely from a post-facelift.

Thanks for the clarification.

That should rule out the MC & slave cylinder.....which leaves only the clutch fork in question. I posted about that in my other thread if you get a chance to look.
