well my tranny is on its way out and I dont have the time to deal with trying to have it repaired or replaced so I was thinking about just buying a used wrx and swapping all my goodies from this car. I dont want to put any more money into the wagon due to the crushed a-pillar which I could never get fixed and the misc other dents and crap. I'd rather start over with a fresh car. my option is to buy a used wrx, which has been hard to find for me localy, or to just buy a used toyota tacoma and try to sell the long block and junk the car itself. I'm in a shitty situation because of the money invested thus far has just been plain retarded. I just want a nice awd or 4wd winter car/truck for the snow and stuff that is less than 15k and in the summer I plan to get a g35 coupe. What are your thoughs, I'm a little confused on what the best course of action should be.

I might get hammered for saying so but I'd go with the most reliable, fuel saving auto you can find if you're in a tight spot. In some ways I'm regretting my recent purchase because the damn tranny is dying in it already (probably why they got rid of it). Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful car, I just wish I didn't owe anything on it.
