is it possible to fit a GC8 hood on the legacy? I know the cars are different...do you think a bodyshop could make it work?

I think we have been here before.

No, the hood will not fit.
Yes, you can have a body shop blend in the vents and scoop.

Would you want to? How much you willing to spend.

I just think our cars would look awesome with that hood, I have no idea how much it would cost...I'd love to have it done tho.

The rest of the lines on the car don't really match the hood that well. I'd just get a wrx scoop put on it, it looks better IMO.

they look horrible with that hood, actually. someone made fiberglass hoods with the vents and scoop

You could search on this one.

The fiberglass hoods with RS-style scoops only fit 90's to 91's, so your only option is to get custom body work done.

Here's how mine looks:

thats a David Carter hood. $200 for the hood, but shipping is the killer. I am planning to get one, but still need to come up with another $175 for shipping.

I would venture to say that painting and install is also the killer. But, that's just the way bodywork is.

No body work is the killer. Thats one of the reasons I didn't have my car for 2 months. The body shop guy blended the scoop in with the hood. He said he put on 14 layers of duraglass. It's a tedious process to get it to look smooth, that is if you don't want it to just sit on top of the hood and see the seam.
