Does a 2004-2005 STI pressure plate fit out legacies?

Won't work. The clutch disc material is the same width from the center out as the WRX, however the material is shifted 10mm outward compared to the WRX clutch.
Irregardless, if you have the push type trans, it's definitely not going to work.

Actually, the 6MT clutch WILL fit in a 5-speed bellhousing....
You just need to cut away a little material. Us SS guys COULD do it. STi pressure plate, clutch disc, flywheel, and associated bits are needed. It'll all work though....
Or at least it SHOULD. A local is running a 6-speed clutch in his 5-speed case.
