Extra warning lights

Aggressive tailgaters are usually best-handled by turning up the boost.
However, when its dark, wet or snowing and I'm at my comfort limit this is not the choice.
I've got the wiring in to mount small but bright red lights on either side at
the top back window of the twgn.
What circuitry and lights are needed to have the two lights flash alternatively --like those on a cop-car
The "on" button is installed on the consol and is only on when it is pushed.

do the lights form the words," get off my ass!" ??
so you're just faking the brakes?
btw, flashing the lights like that is illegal in most places...however you ARE in Canada, so it may be different...

Assuming you're going to only use these off-road...
What you need is a wig-wag flasher device. A cheap one is the EL13A flasher made by Tridon. It goes on the positive side of the circuit; connect the "X" terminal to +12v switched by the switch on your console, and connect one light to the "L" terminal and one to the "R" terminal.

Thanks guys.
Keeping my foot on the gas and tapping the brake peddle with the other no longer works for me,or for the tailgater.
I'll light up the back with some flashing strobes--should do the trick.
I'll let you know if the cops think it is illegal, then I'll take out the alternating switch and end up with warning lights or something

you should just set it up so you light up a middle finger... cause that would be one of the coolest get off my ass things ever

"If the cops think it's illegal?" Dude, it's definitely illegal. I don't think that's exactly the point, though...
I wouldn't use such a device within view of the police.

Oh yeah--The rule of flaws prevails everywhere.
