Finally Installed my Intercooler

I've had the Saab 900 intercooler setup I bought from Vikash lying around for a couple of months and finally got around to installing it. It was pretty easy considering all the parts were there  I still need to move the coolant tank though. My first reaction was how loud it was. Luckily I love the sound of the turbo spooling so its okay. Boost seems to be the same, maybe 1 psi lower then before. Now all I need is a fuel pump and a MBC and I can have a little more fun. Here are some pics, please excuse the filthy engine bay.

COoool.

I can't make out what the piping is doing under the recirc valve. What did you cook up there?

lctwolf - T-bolt hose clamps? I picked some up from turboXS because they are local to me. You could order them from there, or other places.

Schweet! Being intercooled is awesome, it opens the door for many modding possabilities.

Look up my "coolant tank relocation" thread and do it. Trust me, it's only an amount of time until you break the nipples off your coolant tank. You'll thank me later. :-D

Back of the TurboXS catalog says (301) 977-4727. I'm guessing their webpage says the same thing. If that number doesn't work, BAC5.2 should be able to help. His company works with turboXS all the time, and they are located about 3 blocks apart.

Nice.

Yeah, definitely do Matt's coolant tank relocation ASAFP. It will break very soon if you don't.

The clamps are all either from McMaster or some eBay seller.
