Don't get vonage with a linksys router!!

I bought a Linksys router that was made for Vonage. The other day it crapped out so I called Linksys to get it replaced seeing as how it's not even a year old. They tell me to call vonage and they will replace it because it was made for their company. Vonage tells me they won't replace it because I don't have an active account at the moment and I need to call linksys for replacement. Once again I am on the phone with Linksys with no luck still!

Neither of the two companys will honor their warranty so AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

I used to sing Linksys' praises. Not anymore. If you have had good luck then more power to you.

Yeah....linksys's support has gone down the crapper. I had an 8 port router. It worked fine, then it tweaked one day....think lightning might have got it.

I got a new one....and had nothing but problems. I returned it and bought an old revision like the previous one I had off of ebay....and it's working fine.

We just tried to set up two Linksys Wireless routers in series, because neither worked perfectly. My G-router dropped his computer, and his B-router didn't jive with my system.

In series didn't do anything, but it seems to actually be working for his computer now. The G is working fine now.

The Belkin we have at home works GREAT, and I get a signal up to the top of my neighborhood.

I've had no problems with my Linksys router, and I'm never going to have any problems either.

$2800 is a bit out of my budget. I might pay that much for 3 or 4 N/A legacys.

Yeah...they are cheap in my neck of the woods..when you can find them. But for some odd reason there are a ton of cheap Legacys in PA. I bought my last one for 200 in AL, before that I bought a BJ in PA for 100 and drove it home to FL.

The deals are out there. Check craigs list too.

My cousin has his dealers license in CO so I could always have him pick one up for me if I wanted to make the trip.
