Trailer wiring damnit

I removed my trailer wiring when I had to change bumpers and now I've rewired it back, however when I have the headlights on and brake. The indicators light up instead of the brake lights.
When I don't have the lights on everything works as normal.
I don't not have the service brake (blue) wire hooked up.
Any help would be much appreciated. I'm stuck with towing only in daylight at the moment.

I'm unfamiliar with trailer wiring outside the US. What does your trailer wiring consist of? Just wires? Some kind of conversion circuitry?
When you say the turn indicators light up instead of the brake lights, are you talking about on the car or on the trailer? So your trailers have separate brake lights and turn signals?
This may actually be a grounding issue on the trailer. What kind of bulbs are each of the lights on the trailer?

Its a 7-pin flat panel connector. No circuitry at all.
The trailer lights are the same as my tail lights in terms of bulbs.
Sorry, I should've said that is what the trailer lights do. The car is fine.
I have earthed the harness to one of the bolt/nuts that hold the tail light cluster to the chassis.

Hm.
Well, check that the grounds are good all the way up to the bulb sockets if you can.
So the turn signals work correctly when the headlights are off? What do they do when the headlights are on?

Indicators are fine when the headlights are on.
It's only when I brake with th e head lights on or if I turn on the hazards.

What happens when you turn on the hazards?

The brake lights on the trailer flash instead of the indicators.
