carnage pics: this is the reason I got this engine for cheap.
crankshaft key destroyed itself and caused some damage in the process:
the key, well what is left of it sitting atop the crankshaft gear
whats left of the key next to a BB.
damage done to the gear because of the key problem.
damage done to the crankshaft because of the key problem. not to bad....right?
damage done to the face of the block because of the key....only surface abraisons
all the tiny shavings from the metal that was shreded and torn away.
pic of the engine code
proof that its an ej22t and not an ej22e....crosshatching on the block
still need to get the heads off...

some shortblock pics.

with everything on it? sensors, fuel rails/lines? i dont need injectors or a throttle body. if you only want 50 ill take it now.
BTW inspected pistons tonight after dinner. looks good, and crossdrilling on block is very visible.
piston....supposedly these are moly coated from the factory.
looking through piston.
just a cool pic supposedly forged rods and crank stock

Good photos.
I like the RE92 + red wagon engine stand.
