Opinions?

Alrighty, well here's the dilly of a pickel that I'm in. I just graduated with my A.A.S about 10 days ago. My degree happens to involve the Fire Service, but not limited to that. On a whim, I decided to apply for the police department here in Colorado Springs. My chosen path of employment has me going in the direction of public service/govermental service, so I figured why not?

On the 5th of January I'll be leaving to Arizona on a 60/60 credit deal to finish my B.A.S. I'm motivated to get my degree, but I am now tempeted with the possibility of a career with the CSPD. They want me to do Phase I testing (which is all written) with them in late January.

Question is, should I spend the money to come back to Colorado Springs to test with them and have the potential of being invited back for round 2 of testing and a potential career, OR stay down there, finish my degree, and then worry about getting a job in roughly 4 semesters?

Point of note should be that I plan on getting my B.A.S, ASAP. Though ASU, I might be able to finish my degree partly online, which would afford me the luxury of living in Colorado Springs and being at the whims of my potential employer, but I wouldn't get 'the college experience' I was partially looking forward to.

Sorry for the long winded post, but I though bouncing the idea around with a bunch of Legacy nuts might help me get different points of view.

If you have the money, go to school full-time. Work as little as possible to be able to do well and enjoy the social life

Go to school full time. You won't regret it. Trust me.
