SMTP Address for Thunderbird?

I can receive e-mail, but can't send it.

Sucks, because I really gotta get in touch with Barrett at AllWheelsDriven.

You need to know the SMTP address of your e-mail provider.

But it will just sit there "connecting" forever.

Nope, Mozilla thunderbird. I stopped using Outlook.

Some SMTP servers require the use of special ports or the use of SSL. Also, you may want to change the timeout time to something a little longer.

And Outlook works just fine as long as you set it up correctly.

I'm going to have to dispute this. after working tech support for over a year... Outlook will work just fine if you set it up correctly, but it will generally end up breaking no matter what.

Yeah, it was a joke but also a question. When I used to use Outlook it took forever to get my email messages.
