In action: Ford GT 40 tire- testing, and racing at Le Mans
Watched part of "A Man and a Woman" on Speed Vision and looked it up.
It won Best Foreign Film and Best Original Screenplay in 1966. The story is about a driver on the Ford team in Europe and has some good footage
of the Monte in a Mustang along with others on some night sections,
complete with sparks from studded tires. Also some of the Le Mans is worthwhile.
Fascinating love story--Anouk Aimee is gorgeous.
I was able to get the original version with sub titles at a speciality video shop

Sounds cool.
One of my all time faves is Ronin... if that movie doesn't kindle a love for Audi's A8 then I question your affection for the automobile.

Commando fucking rocks!!!
I love that part where he drives the blazer down the hill. That's got to be the best part of the whole movie.

The orginal Gumball Rally was filmed at speed. I knew (he's dead now) one of the stunt drivers for the film. Man, the stories......

Ronin is the obvious one...
I also agree with the Bourne series...
Rendezvous is awesome, those who have seen it know why
But, it's still my favorite movie of all time: Christine.

Subyluvr noted Rendezvous--thanks for the reminder.
Nine minutes in a Ferrari GTB flat out through the streets of Paris.
Produced by Claude LeLouch who also directed "A Man and a Woman"
Google it: C'etait un Rendezvous

Mad Max (GREAT chase scenes, its like porn for people who like cars)
any of the bond flicks (think about it, Lotus's, Aston Martins, a slew of Beemers and Audis, the occasional motorcycle jetplane or wheelchair)
The Chase with Charlie Sheen (not the best story but lots of car chase footage)
On behalf of my friend, The Transporter, (Beemer movie)

I will admit that the transporter was sweet.
I would also like to add The French Connection.

The Run was basically a remake of The Renezvous, but legal.

I thought the chase scene in T3 was pretty bad ass.
