4EAT rear clutchpack lock for 4wd instead of AWD

you all know you can lock the rear clutchpack in your 4eat to make it essentially 4wd instead of AWD, right?
there is a connector coming from the transmission... should be 16 pin connector.. 4 rows of 4 pins.. resistance between pins 4 and 11 should be around 13 ... cut the wire going to pin 11 from the tranny (usually brown) and put in a switch so that you can "switch off" this wire...
with wire disconnected, duty solenoid C locks rear clutchpacks and you're in 4wd
with wire connected, duty solenoid C allows rear clutchpacks to vary power split, or this is my limited understanding..
I and others at ultimatesubaru.net have done this mod, and it does work
