Finally! My precious Subarina is back on the road!
Special thanks to Phil for driving up and helping me man handle the new tranny into place. You da man!
We did it in like 10 minutes. Shows what can happen when both people working on the project know what the hell they're doing.
Also a special shot out to Scott (Tleg93). He helped with my front brakes and reassembly. Thanks Scott!
The car was running wierd after the swap but seems ok now. I removed my LW underdriven crank pulley and went back to OEM. So far I'm happy I did. I'm hoping the initial crappy running was the ECU taking it's sweet ass time learning the new pulley. I also did the shifter bushings and OMG! That's the best mod/fix I've ever done. It makes a world of difference and it's super easy to do.
So I'm back, the car's back on the road. I'm going to run @ wastegate boost (9 psi) for a while.....maybe a long while, since I can't afford for my car to break again anytime soon. But I'm happy and 9 psi feels damn fast after only driving my Tahoe for 2 1/2 months!

Your welcome, Matt. I'm glad she's back on the road again. Let's look forward to a couple months of pain free operation.

Damn V, were you plastered last night or what?

Hahaha.
Scott- I have my Filangies crossed.
Mike- I had an underdriven LW pulley. I don't like the underdriven. I also am running the ACT Streetlite flywheel already and some say it's bad to lighten both ends of the crank. So far now that the car is running good, it feels a lot stronger then when I had the pulley on there.

My roommate's boyfriend bought a 750mL bottle of some really good good aƱejo tequila (Sauza Conmemorativo). She just had two shots, so he and I finished the rest of it over the course of the evening.
He warned me not to go on the BBS drunk.
"Couple months?"

Well, a year or more would be good. I've personally never had more than a few months go by without something I wanted to work on popping up.

yeah, it sucks... but i have the t-leg gearset that i wasn't using to rebuild and put in, and i got that new t-leg to drive around, so i'm not in a rush to fix it. the red one gets all the goodies i've been collecting while its down

Oh damn Jake, that sucks.
Wow, this is crazy. We're entering a dangerous cycle it seems here.

Yep, you, Vikash, Phil and I all run 16G's. Feel the p0w3r!!!1!
It's crazy, I don't know if it's because I didn't drive the car for so long or what but now that the engine seems to have worked out the kinks, it seems damn fast. Like almost as fast as when I was running 16 psi before with the LW underdriven pulley. It probably helps that I'm getting zero FC @ 9 psi too. It just pulls and pulls.
I think that pulley may have been the devil. Cast it out!
