couple of questions
if one installs a fuse in the awd spot under the hood, I understand that the drivetrain will only be in front wheel drive.
Now, my question: would there be any reason why the fuse could be left in indefinitely?? Obviously the traction would suffer, but would there be any damage caused???

next one: my automatic engages quickly when cold, but very slow (up to 3 seconds) when hot.. Tranny shop says many $$$ but that seems to be a pat answer from an auto trans shop?? I get code 33, code 11, and code 24 on trans. It has always been a "mystery shifter" extremely vague under load but I have lived with it for 250,000 km .
How I ramble!!
any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated

Search for 'FWD fuse'.

May just be a matter of changing your fluid, search for tranny fluid and you should find some answers.

Others may be able to provide more specific info but that should get you started.

Yeah, I'd recommend changing the tranny fluid.

Installing the fuse indefinitely will more then likely lead to premature failure of the duty c solenoid.
