ok so my car will not start. i have bad starter contacts and i know this but its not so bad that i cant get it started at least eventualy.

from what ive read i have a bad coolant temp sensor. this from the car turning over without starting unless i hold the gas.

today, well last night i parked outside for the first time in a long time and this morning the car wouldnt start. at first i thought bad starter contacts. but then it started to turn over verry slowly, about 4 seconds a turn. then faster and faster but never up to normal starter speeds. i heald it there until the speed sort of plateaued and let the key off. i could never get it to turn over again.

what is it this time

Are the battery terminals securely tightened?

Flat battery?

terminals are secure. ive had that problem before and its deffinatly not that. flat battery is a maybe. this is the batterys second winter with me. and i dont know when the last time it was replaced as i bought the car used. yet then again. if it were to be a flat battery the starter wouldnt have speed up as it turned more adn more

It could... another way to describe what's happening is that the starter motor is accelerating very slowly and not reaching its full speed.

Well first just try measuring the voltage on your battery.

Maybe a jump-start will help things for now.
