that thing is fucking huge! based on what I've been reading in my "maximum boost" book I think you may only be hitting full boost on that thing at like 5000 rpm. could you elaborate on drivability?

So far, I'm only running it at @ 13 PSI. It seems to spool up as quick as the VF11, only much MUCH smoother, and it never dies. I really think its gonna be a perfect match for this motor.
I ran on the dyno on Monday before I put it in. The VF11 put me down at 165whp at about 3500RPM. Almost 200ft lbs.

That was at @ 10PSI. The power curve peaked around 3.5K, then steadilly declined. (E.L. header, STI exhaust, 3" catless DP, WRX intercooler, MBC)
The 320 will no doubt plauteu the power curve now. I want to dyno it again without anymore mods, and then throw in some 440's and a perfect power, and find the exact limit of these heads.

I'll do one soon. Ive been whording parts over the last year, which include STI heads and manifold, and a front mount.
I would have loved to do a pictoral on the rotated mount, and downpipe, but my camera burned up with my house last december.
Anyone looking to donate a digicam?

you want my old sony until wcss8? it takes decent photos and if you ruin it, I won't be upset. It's lived through falling off the top of my car at 25 mph and getting brake fluid spilled on it as well as a trip to mexico and living on the beach

What kinda boost controller is that?
I'm also looking forward to a write-up. Nice work.

That's pretty sick. Rotated mount huh?
What kit did you use, or did you custom fab it up?
Same goes for the downpipe.
What kind of power do you expect?

My friend had an AVO GT28 in his WRX, it spooled real fast I'd say around stock (stock WRX that is). It was a sweet turbo, but he dumped it for something bigger to get more power.

I fabbed the pipes myself. I'm really stoked about it.
Im not sure what the power gain is, probablly 30-40hp? Its a completelly different beast. I still have a boost cut. I'm afraid to run too much boost in fear of leaning out. Im gonna rebuild my block, but I certianlly dont want holes in my pistons, or a rod doing the pokey dance.
The boost controller is Greddy/Trust.

+1!
That's sick Kelly!
You need to get a TEC-III and some big ass injectors.....and a built bottom end.....and head work......and a FMIC. Then throw that bitch on the dyno, yo!

*Drool, seriously, that's some nice clean work. I'm anxious to see it with all your whored goodies installed.

Im really anxious too. Bearings, rings, heads, AVCS, Manifold, injectors, Throttle body, management, and probablly some axles.

AVCS can help make some sick power.

WHich STI heads are you going with? I am looking to do the same with the other 2.2 block that I have.
WHat are you thinking for engine management for that? are you gonna use the Perfectpower standalone? WHat about internals? stock or axis/similar? Are you gonna stick with the low compression form adding the heads or are you gonna get higher compression pistons?
Sorry for so many questions but This is what I am doing to and I am trying to figure out the best route to go-on limited funds.

Im using v8 heads and injectors, stock pistons/internals.
I'll probablly piggyback a PP6, and use the fith injector map to controll the AVCS.

how much pressure are you going to push on the stock internals

I guess well see. I dont imagine the turbos good for over 20psi. Same with the 550's. I cant quite figure out where the compression will be. Anyone got any ideas?
My coworker says 8.2

It spools really quick, very fun!!! You should post pics of your new rims. I like them even though you don't.
