I was driving down the road and accidentlly kicked the wiring for my afc and ecu. I heard a pop and my afc went dead and my passenger side head light is dim. I disconnected my afc and all guages and I still have a dim head light on the passenger side. I could not find the fuse for the head lights. I hope I didnt fry my afc.

With diagnostics and repair?

It's hard to say... this is why you should be more careful with hwo you do wiring. And I'm sure from now on you will be!

But I guess the first thing to do might be to disconnect the battery and visually inspect as much of the modified wiring as you can. Look for scorched insulation.

Did your car continue to run after the incident?

The headlight fuses are in the underhood fuse box.

If you tell us more about how you had stuff wired maybe we can help more.

thanks for the info guys I found the bum fuse it was actual admitting 7 volts in a 14 volt circiut and it was blown but I could not tell until I put a meter on it. I replaced it and everthing is fine. I have not hooled up my afc and guages. I hope they are ok but for future reference should I wire in a fuse block for all the electronics?
