Looking for a running EJ22, preferably with lower mileage and decent compression. The vanagon and airplane guys are making it hard to find cheap subaru engines.

BTW, it's going in my 95 impreza, to replace the 1.8 litre, an engine which is as reliable as it is boring. I've been told the 1.8 ecu will work, or a 95 2.2l legacy ECU would plug in also. If you happen to know anything about which would work better, please let me know. Thanks

I have one with just under 100K miles.....

But not sure it's "cheap"...since I usually sell to the Vanagon guys.
