Japanese Domestic Music. Just picked up a CD of some old Japanese instrumental music and this is pretty cool stuff. Very calming, yet I can think really well for writing with it. I always loved the simplicity of Japanese art and their music and wished they'd apply that more to their car designs. It's got me thinking of going more Japanese in the interior mods to the wagon. I was going to go with those bamboo reed or whatever mats for the floor (for special occasions, using the more durable ones otherwise), but now I'm trying to think of something for the headliner and cloth door inserts rather than the fake suede I was going for. Any ideas? I don't really want any patterned fabric. I'm also thinking of doing something with black and red lacquer, but only if I can get it to work with the blue interior and look subdued.

I've noticed that instrumental music helps when I'm trying to write... music with lyrics seems to "gum up the works" like a hot girl in a mini-skirt standing on a stool to change a light bulb in the middle of an SAT test
