My floor in the front on the passenger side (left) gets really wet when i have the air con on. I mean heaps of water too like on a big trip will get up to an inch nearly. is it condensation from the air con or what??

It does sound like it's condensation from the air conditioner.
There's a drain tube leaving the box that holds the evaporator core. A rubber tube attached comes out through the firewall directly in front of that area (which is kind of behind the glove box). It sounds like this drain pathway is clogged.
I don't know the best way of dealing with this clog. I know Legacy777 has experience removing and reinstalling the evaporator core, so maybe he can say whether there's a good way to do it without discharging the A/C system.

piece of wire or coat hanger usually does the trick, just don't push it in too far that you are hitting the core

Here is what I did to fix this problem:
Jack up the front end of the car or drive it onto ramps
Take the cap from a spraypaint can and drill a hole in the middle of the top no bigger then the size of the hose that come out of the firewall just above your CAT.
Put the cap at the end of a shop vac hose, insert A/C hose into the other side of the cap and then turn the vac on. It sucks out all the gook and water sitting in the box.
Hope this helps.

Cheers, easy fixed. The hose had just slid off the black box thingy so i just pushed it back on. should be all good now.
