Finally, turbo'd all around

So I figured I should finally give everyone an update on my brake situation.

After getting the calipers unstuck and a simple rebuild I got them mounted. Wow, what a difference. Braking feels much much more balanced than before (I've gotten three different wheels to lock first on seperate occasions), though I still kinda miss the feeling of being pulled down and to a stop. However, I can brake in turns now and in the snow I can lock my brakes and it just slides forward and slightly off center by a couple feet as opposed to throwing the rear end out and around like before. I'm still getting used to them but initial brake tests show a good 15-20 ft reduction in 60-0's. I'll get some videos soon and post. I really don't think I'll be going to the WRX fronts anytime soon as I feel this is ample adequate and don't want to move the bias forward anymore, or atleast not until I can do the LGT rears too.

And for those who haven't followed my progression, last spring I did a turbo rear conversion with Bradi rotors that were cyro'd and slotted with mintex pads (thanks Josh). Since then my bias has been to the back, fun but also pretty sketch in a few critical senarios.

Conclusion, upgrading my brakes has been the next best thing I've done to my car after getting new tires. The fronts have brought my balance and safety back. The days of initiating 180's at 55mph and getting it sideways by 45mph are probably gone since I don't have the feel and control over locking my rears as before but my stopping power is superb and I now feel that much closer to being turbo'd :).

Front (60kb)- http://filebox.vt.edu/users/lskidmor/pe ... /close.jpg , yes it's before I knocked all the oxidation off, they're shinny now.
Rear (110kb)- http://filebox.vt.edu/users/lskidmor/pe ... inish1.JPG , they look better than the fronts...
