There is a 1991 Legacy Sedan for sale here in Oak Harbor for $100. I talked to the owner who now lives in FL and he said the whole automatic tranny is pretty much brand new. I would probably buy this and deliver it as far as SeaTac or CAN/AM border for a couple hundred bucks. See below for description of vehicle condition.

So it'll actually run and drive?

I might have a taker. I'll see if I still have your contacts in my pm box, and give you a ring a ling.

No, it will need a new engine. He told me that he was in the process of replacing the engine and had to move, leaving all sorts of stuff taken apart. I haven't popped the hood yet but I'm gonna look at it after I get off work tonight. It will not drive but if it looks semi-complete I may see if I can get it running and then someone could come get it and drive it home.

When I say deliver, I mean that I will put it on a trailer and take it to whoever wants it.

PM'd you back, your finders fee can be a complimentary tuning. Bring some fancy tools with you and we'll call it good.

Wow, I got a chance to finally see the car in person and I'm just speechless. Apparently this guys "friends" got drunk and just DESTROYED this poor Legacy. There is not a single body panel or lamp intact and it has just been exposed for the last 2 days.
It was straight until this mishap when these @$$holes decided to put a railroad tie through the windshield. I really don't even know if this car is worth any money, let alone $200, even with a new tranny.
When I called the owner to tell him about the condition he was pretty pissed and said that he would negotiate the price but I told him that his dumbass buddies owe him 200 bucks. If anyone still wants it I can give you his # and you can negotiate with him.

FranticFour, if you still want it, don't forget to stop by and help me tune my SS.

Bump. FranticFour, you still wanna pick this up on Tuesday? I could probably get him to let it go for $50.
