I hate being poor

Post by Psychoreo »

it sucks. period. not only do i not have any money to have fun with my turbo swap, but this canadian guy that just moved into my appt. building needs more room than his 02 wrx can offer. that being said, he's selling it for $19k with 28k miles on it. :(

not that i want the image of what the WRX brings, but i miss having a new car...

oh well...i guess it's back to scraping up enough to get her back on the road...

I hear ya man, I hear ya.

All I need is $5,000 and my driveway would be full and car parts would be everywhere ;)

19k for an 02 rex is way too much anyway....when I was looking I saw some as low as 12k

All I need is a month or two and my land will be filled with cars and parts... having a full-size car trailer and a truck that can haul it means I can get all kinds of vehicles cheap :-D

19 is a bit much, but i was a bit confused when i checked the vin... i'm used to seeing the standard 17 digit vin numbers.... this one was different...it had a J for it's first number :)

It should have. Apparently the forester, and impreza lineage (inc wrx) were made in real japan san. Not indiana japan san.

So far, from what I've seen, at least for the newer Soobs:

Anything Legacy-based (Legacy, Outback, Baja) is SIA. Anything Impreza Based (Impreza, Outback Sport, Forester) is FHI.

^^^yep, and the tribeca is Indiana also.

I always drive past the factory on my way to Ohio to visit family, and they have 2 legacies (sedan & wagon) a tribeca, and a Baja sitting on display outside the plant.
