I found some WRX wheels/tires, but they're in West Virginia and I'm in Utah. What's the cheapest way to get them shipped?

Greyhound has a shipping service that's usually the cheapest way for ordinary mortals to ship. You just have to drop off and pick up at Greyhound bus terminals, and wait until they find space in a bus for the stuff.

you could also keep looking and wait for something local. Nice thing for me is there are always a couple of sets for sale in the area.

There are usually a couple of sets a month that come up on awdpirates.net, a mostly subaru forum based around the Denver area. The wheels would as least be closer to you.
I had wheels shipped to me in one box which would reduce the cost. Or have the guy duct tape all the boxes together and ship them as one.

Fed Ex Ground. I bet you can ship them for less than $75 total. I had a set of four wheels & tires sent from Florida to St. Louis for $50 total.

Depending on the company, it may be better to do it in two packages of two wheels. Fed Ex Ground had an extra charge if the package weighs more than a certain amount.

Make a sandwich: one wheel on the ground face up. Put a 24" diameter circle of heavy cardboard on top of it. Put another wheel face down on top of that. Tape them firmly together with that strapping tape that is reinforced with fiberglass. Use plenty of tape. Add a label, drop it off at the Fed Ex Ground office.
