Turning 21

Anything I should do before the big day? Anything that's better done while I'm still technically underage?
On a side note, this is apparently supposed to be the time of my life. I'm not having any fun at all right now. Any suggestions for that one?

Congratulations Tristian!!!! Happy 21st. Dude, if you were here I'd take you out and get you hammered.
Yeah, don't build it up to be something beyond what it really is. Make a plan to do something to at least get your free drinks and just relax and let it happen. It may only seem like the best time in hindsight, if you remember the night at all. Drag a few friends along and take a cab home. Go eat some sushi, go to a strip club, smoke cigars or whatever. Just indulge yourself and be safe.

One suggestion: Eat some food first. You'll last longer and it wont' hit as hard. Be careful what bars you go to after a couple drinks. you don't want to end up in the WRONG bar.... 151 is always a bad idea, so is fire water(unless you want to get trashed). Don't buy the drink specials, they use watered down well liqour and are usually weak. Jello shots are good fun. Don't do body shots off of strange women. And always use a designated driver. Maybe that was more than one suggestion. Just be smart.

Great advice except for this one ^^^. I have no idea what Jarred is talking about here. If a women will let you take body shots off her, you take that oppurtunity and make the best of it, damn it!

go bar hopping and get a birthday drink at each one, we have done that for a few of my friends and its great.

By strange women I don't mean strangers that you haven't met, I actually mean strange women as in strange looking, or haggard. But then again no woman looks too bad after a few drinks.

Ehh, I got waaay more drunk on my 20th birthday than I did on my 21st, or ANY other day for that matter.
If you want, go buy a six-pack or something right at the stroke of midnight, and willingly hand the cashier your I.D. and be like "Look! I'm 21! I can buy this legally!!"

Okay, so hey! My weekend starts early! I just got off work, I got today, and tomorrow, then saturday and then, uh. . . Well, we'll see.
Its also my last day on night shift! Yaaay! So right after my birthday I start a new position, and a different crew. What a gift!
